The Lexington Blackstones rugby football club was founded in 1981 by a core group of 15 members, many of whom were originally coal miners (hence our name!). We consist of some of the best players in the entire Midwest union and we’re STILL GROWING. Blackstones live by and uphold our most important values- family, excellence, and most importantly, Brotherhood. What makes us unique is our unwavering support for our own on AND off the pitch; to be a Blackstone is to never stand alone. This isn’t just a sport or game; it’s a way of life.
